I want to install BSNL EVDO Rev A USB Data Card Model No.:T-U500 on my laptop which is double booted with both ubuntu and windows 7. BSNL evdo works well on windows 7 and I tried to install it on ubuntu. I don't have internet connection in Ubuntu. I tried to install using terminal. I recently got a new EVDO connection and they gave me a ZTE AC8700 modem instead of Prithvi. Although I can successfully install the drivers, whenever I.

In order to assist you better, please provide information on:

1.What happens when you try to connect the modem?

2.Do you get any error message?

3.Are you plugging through a USB port?

4.Have you installed the software for the modem to run?

Run the hardware and devices troubleshooter:

Step 1: Press “windows key + Q”.

Step 2: Type in control panel.

Step 3: After control panel, type in troubleshooter.

1. when I connect the modem the autoplay just opens the folder.
3. It is USB.
4. I am able to install the software but the interface doesnt respond.

capitel modem driver not supported in windows 8
In windows 8 relese preview we install drivers manually and device works but in windows 8 rtm this trick not working and device not works

As I can say to you is that I have tried to install the setup file using compatibility settings when i connect it to a USB port,but it did not work at all.There are no error messages being displayed,as the modem is working but softwares are not getting installed properly.please advise.
